Dein Recht auf Löschung

Gemäß der DSGVO und anderen Datenschutzgesetzen hast du das Recht, die Löschung deiner persönlichen Daten zu verlangen. Dies wird manchmal als „Recht auf Vergessenwerden" bezeichnet.

Möglichkeiten zur Datenlöschung

Konto löschen (Self-Service):

1. Gehe zu Kontoeinstellungen
2. Scrolle zu Konto löschen
3. Klicke auf Mein Konto löschen
4. Bestätige deine Entscheidung

Per E-Mail anfragen: Du kannst auch eine Löschung per E-Mail an privacy@lovd.app anfordern.

Wichtige Hinweise

• Exportiere zuerst deine Daten, bevor du dein Konto löschst
• Die Löschung ist dauerhaft und kann nicht rückgängig gemacht werden
• Zahlungsunterlagen werden 7 Jahre aufbewahrt (gesetzliche Anforderung)

Your Right to Delete Your Data

Under GDPR and other privacy laws, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data. This is sometimes called the "right to be forgotten."

Ways to Delete Your Data

Delete Your Account (Self-Service)

The easiest way to delete all your data is to delete your account:

1. Go to Account Settings
2. Scroll to Delete Account
3. Click Delete My Account
4. Confirm your decision

This will:

• Immediately remove your access
• Delete all your photos within 30 days
• Delete your account information within 30 days
• Remove you from all collections

Delete Specific Content

To delete individual items without closing your account:

Photos:

1. Navigate to the photo
2. Click the delete option
3. Confirm deletion

Collections:

1. Go to the collection settings
2. Click Delete Collection
3. Confirm (this deletes all photos in the collection)

Request Deletion via Email

You can also request deletion by emailing privacy@lovd.app. Include:

• Your account email address
• What you want deleted (specific content or entire account)
• Verification of your identity

We'll process your request within 30 days as required by GDPR.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account:

What We May Retain

Certain data may be retained even after deletion:

Legal Requirements:

• Payment records (7 years for tax purposes)
• Records of illegal content reports
• Data required for ongoing legal proceedings

Anonymized Data:

• Aggregated analytics that cannot identify you
• Statistical data about platform usage

Third-Party Systems:

• Data shared with payment processors may have separate retention policies
• Cached content may persist briefly in CDN systems

Important Considerations

Before Deleting Your Account

1. Export your data first - Download your photos and account data before deletion
2. Cancel any active subscription - Avoid unexpected charges
3. Check shared collections - Your photos in shared collections will be removed

Collections You Own

If you own collections with other members:

• Your account deletion removes your access
• Content uploaded by others remains
• Ownership transfers may need to be arranged beforehand

Content in Others' Collections

Photos you uploaded to collections owned by others:

• Will be deleted when you delete your account
• Collection owners will lose access to your contributions

Deletion is Permanent

Once your data is deleted:

• It cannot be recovered
• Photos are permanently lost
• Account cannot be restored

Make sure you have backups before requesting deletion.

Processing Time

After deletion:

• You'll receive an email confirming the request
• You'll receive another email when deletion is complete
• You can no longer log in to your account
