Family Plan
Family Plan Overview
The Family plan ($60/year) lets up to 4 people share 100 GB of storage. It's designed for households where multiple people want to store and share photos.
How Shared Storage Works
Unlike individual plans where each person has their own storage, the Family plan uses a shared storage pool:
- All 4 members draw from the same 100 GB
- Photos uploaded by any member count toward the shared limit
- One person might use 60 GB, another 40 GB—it's flexible
- The owner can see total usage but not per-person breakdown
Example
The Smith family has 4 members on a Family plan:
- Mom uploads 40 GB of photos
- Dad uploads 25 GB
- Teen uploads 20 GB
- Grandma uploads 10 GB
- Total used: 95 GB of 100 GB
Everyone has full access to create collections and upload.

Family Plan FAQ
Can family members see each other's photos?
Only if they share collections with each other. Each person's collections are private until shared.
What happens if we exceed 100 GB?
No one can upload new photos until storage is freed up. Existing photos remain accessible.
Can I transfer ownership?
Not currently. If the owner wants to leave, they should cancel and have another family member start a new plan.
What if a family member abuses storage?
The owner can remove them from the plan. Consider having a conversation about fair usage.
