Plans and billing
Lovd has three plans, and they differ only in how much you can store. Every plan gets unlimited collections, sharing with anyone, and files up to 50 MB each.

Photo counts assume compressed photos at about 500 KB each. Photos are stored compressed by default; you can choose original quality instead, which keeps your original file alongside the compressed one (both count toward your storage). You set the default on the Storage page and can change it for any upload.
- Explorer is for trying Lovd, or for adding photos to other people's collections.
- Curator is for keeping a growing collection safe: a family's worth of highlights.
- Archivist is room for a real library, with plenty of headroom for large camera files.
Paying yearly works out cheaper. Payments go through Polar, our merchant of record, and in the UK and EU the prices include VAT. Elsewhere, any local tax is shown at checkout before you pay. See Billing and payments.
Managing your subscription
Go to to see your current plan, the other plans and your billing history. Storage has its own section in the sidebar.
Upgrade or switch plans
Open Account settings → Subscription
Pick monthly or annual billing
Use the Monthly / Annual switch above the plans.
Select Switch on the plan you want
Complete checkout
Polar's secure checkout opens. Your new storage limit applies as soon as the payment is confirmed.
