Cancelling your subscription
How to cancel
Cancelling takes a minute, all on your . No emails, no phone calls, no talking you out of it.
Open Account settings → Subscription
Open the user menu, choose Account settings, then in the sidebar.
Find your plan
The card at the top shows your current plan, renewal date and price.
Cancel and confirm
Select Cancel subscription. The confirmation shows your plan and the date your access runs until. Select Cancel subscription again to confirm, or Keep subscription to back out.
Your subscription is now marked Cancelling. It stays fully active until the end of the billing period you've paid for, then stops renewing.
In the Lovd phone app, plan changes aren't available: cancel from your account on the Lovd website instead.
What happens next
- You keep full access, uploads included, until your billing period ends.
- There's no refund for the rest of that period.
- When it ends, you're back on the free Explorer plan (500 MB). Your collections and photos stay as they are.
Your 90-day grace period
When your paid period ends, a 90-day grace period starts. During it:
- You can view all your photos and collections.
- You can download and export everything.
- The people you've shared collections with keep their access.
- You can't upload new photos, however much storage you're using. Resubscribe to start uploading again.
Before the 90 days are up, we send you reminder emails and a complete export of your content. You can resubscribe at any point to get full access back. If you don't, your content is removed after a final notice. To delete your data sooner, see Export or delete your data.
Resubscribing
You can come back whenever you like.
Before your period ends
While your subscription still says Cancelling, go to Account settings → Subscription and select Resubscribe. Billing carries on as before, with no new checkout.
After your period ends
Go to Account settings → Subscription, choose a plan and complete checkout. Full access comes back straight away.
