- Familieplan med delt lagerpulje
Abonnement og betaling
- Gratis: 500 MB lagerplads
- Personal: 30 $/år for 50 GB lagerplads
- Familie: 60 $/år for 100 GB delt lagerplads (op til 4 medlemmer)
Alle abonnementer faktureres årligt forud.
After Cancellation:
- You get 90 days of read-only access to view and download everything
- After 90 days, your photos are securely stored until you resubscribe
- Photos are never automatically deleted; resubscribe anytime and all content is restored

1. Introduction and Acceptance
Welcome to lovd ("we," "our," "us," or the "Platform"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our photo sharing and storage services.
By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.

2. Eligibility
Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use lovd. We do not knowingly allow users under 18 to create accounts or use our services. By using lovd, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.
If we discover that a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their account and delete their data.
Account Registration
To use our services, you must:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Promptly update any changes to your information
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
3. Our Services
lovd provides a platform for storing, organizing, and sharing photos with family and friends. Our services include:
- Photo and image storage
- Collection creation and organization
- Sharing and collaboration features
- Family plan shared storage pools
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time with reasonable notice.
4. Subscription and Payment
Pricing
We offer the following subscription tiers:
- Free: 500 MB storage
- Personal: $30/year for 50 GB storage
- Family: $60/year for 100 GB shared storage (up to 4 members)
Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes. Taxes (including VAT) will be calculated and added at checkout based on your location.
Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Polar.sh, our Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you also agree to Polar's terms of service. Polar handles:
- Payment processing
- Tax collection and remittance
- Invoicing and receipts
- Subscription management
Billing and Cancellation
- Subscriptions are billed annually in advance
- You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of your billing period
- No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
- We may change pricing with 30 days' notice
After Cancellation
When your subscription ends, you receive 90 days of read-only access. During this period:
- You can view and download all your photos and collections
- You cannot upload new content
- Your memories remain safe and accessible
After the 90-day read-only period, your content is securely stored but not accessible until you resubscribe. If you resubscribe at any time, all your content is restored immediately.
Your photos are never automatically deleted due to subscription cancellation or downgrade.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
Prohibited Content
You may not upload, store, or share content that:
- Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) - We have zero tolerance for CSAM. All uploads are automatically scanned using Cloudflare's CSAM scanning technology. Violations are reported to relevant authorities including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
- Contains nudity or sexually explicit material - Including pornography, sexual content, or intimate images shared without consent.
- Depicts violence or gore - Including graphic violence, injury, torture, or content that glorifies violence.
- Promotes hate or discrimination - Content targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
- Infringes intellectual property - Content you do not have the right to share, including copyrighted material owned by others.
- Is illegal - Content that violates any applicable law or regulation.
- Harasses or threatens others - Including bullying, stalking, or intimidation.
- Contains malware or harmful code - Files designed to damage or gain unauthorized access to systems.
Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
- Share account credentials with unauthorized users
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Use automated tools to scrape or access our services
- Interfere with the proper functioning of our platform
- Resell or commercially exploit our services without permission
6. Content Moderation and Enforcement
How We Moderate
We employ multiple methods to ensure platform safety:
- Automated scanning for CSAM using industry-standard tools
- User reporting mechanisms
- Manual review of flagged content
- Proactive monitoring for policy violations
Consequences of Violations
Depending on the severity and nature of violations, we may:
- Remove violating content
- Issue warnings
- Temporarily suspend account access
- Permanently terminate accounts
- Report illegal content to law enforcement
For CSAM violations, we immediately and permanently ban the account and report to authorities. There are no warnings for CSAM.
Appeals
If you believe your content was removed in error or your account was wrongly suspended, you may appeal by contacting support@lovd.app within 14 days. We will review your appeal and respond within 30 days.
7. Your Content
Ownership
You retain all ownership rights to content you upload to lovd. We do not claim ownership of your photos or other content.
License to Us
By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to:
- Store and backup your content
- Display your content to you and users you've shared with
- Process your content (e.g., generate thumbnails, optimize for display)
- Transfer content for service operation purposes
This license exists only to provide our services and ends when you delete your content or close your account.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring you have the right to upload and share content
- Respecting the privacy of individuals in your photos
- Obtaining necessary consents for photos of others
- Backing up important content (we recommend maintaining your own backups)
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.

- We process your data to provide our services
- We do not sell your personal data
- You have rights to access, correct, and delete your data
- We implement appropriate security measures
9. Intellectual Property
Our Property
lovd, our logo, website design, and service features are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without permission.
Copyright Complaints
If you believe content on lovd infringes your copyright, please contact us at support@lovd.app with:
- Identification of the copyrighted work
- Location of the infringing content
- Your contact information
- A statement of good faith belief
- A statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury
- Your signature
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
We do not guarantee that our services will meet your requirements or that any content will be preserved indefinitely.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not liable for data loss; you are responsible for maintaining backups
These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory and even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
Note: These limitations do not apply where prohibited by EU consumer protection law. If you are an EU consumer, you retain all mandatory rights under applicable law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of our services
- Your content
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:
- Posting the updated Terms on our website
- Sending an email to your registered address
- Displaying a notice when you log in
Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
14. Termination
By You
You may cancel your subscription or close your account at any time.
Subscription cancellation: You receive 90 days of read-only access, after which your content is securely stored until you resubscribe (see Section 4). Your photos are never deleted due to cancellation alone.
Account closure (deletion): You may request full account deletion through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon closure:
- Your access to the services ends immediately
- Your content will be deleted within 30 days
- Some information may be retained as required by law
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in illegal activity
- Create risk or legal exposure for us
- Have an account inactive for more than 12 months (with prior notice)
Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your license to use our services ends
- We may delete your content
- Provisions that should survive (indemnification, limitation of liability, governing law) remain in effect
15. Governing Law and Disputes
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Dispute Resolution
We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes informally. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally:
- For EU consumers: You may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence or the Netherlands
- For others: Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam, Netherlands
EU Online Dispute Resolution
If you are an EU consumer, you may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
16. Digital Services Act Compliance
In accordance with the EU Digital Services Act (DSA):
- We provide clear information about content moderation
- We offer accessible reporting and appeal mechanisms
- We publish transparency information about content removal
- We designate a point of contact for authorities

17. General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and lovd.
Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right does not waive our right to enforce it later.
Assignment
You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights to a successor.
Language
These Terms are provided in English. In case of any conflict with translations, the English version prevails.
