Control who can tag you and manage analytics preferences.

Privacy Settings

Your privacy settings let you control how others interact with you on lovd. and whether you share anonymous usage data with us.

Accessing Privacy Settings

  1. Click your profile picture in the top right
  2. Select Account from the menu
  3. Click Privacy in the sidebar

Tagging Settings

Allow Tagging

When enabled, other users can tag you in their photos and content. This helps families and friends connect memories together.

When enabled:

  • Others can tag you in photos they upload
  • You'll appear in their tagged people lists
  • Tagged photos will be linked to your profile

When disabled:

  • No one can tag you in new photos
  • Existing tags remain until manually removed
  • You won't appear in tag suggestions
Disabling tagging doesn't remove existing tags. Contact the photo owner to remove specific tags.

Analytics Settings

Usage Analytics

We use anonymous analytics to understand how people use lovd. This helps us improve the app and fix issues.

What we collect:

  • Which features are used most
  • Where users get stuck
  • General usage patterns
  • Error reports

What we never collect:

  • Your photos or their contents
  • Personal information
  • Anything we could sell to advertisers

Opting Out

You can disable analytics at any time:

  1. Go to AccountPrivacy
  2. Toggle off Usage Analytics
  3. Click Save Changes

When disabled, we won't collect any usage data from your account.

Keeping analytics enabled helps us build a better lovd. for everyone, but we respect your choice either way.

If you're not logged in, you'll see a cookie consent banner. You can:

  • Accept All - Enable analytics and essential cookies
  • Reject All - Only essential cookies (required for the site to work)
  • Customize - Choose which categories to enable

Logged-in users manage analytics through the Privacy settings instead.
