Account Settings
Your Lovd account holds your profile, preferences, subscription, and all your collections and photos.
Opening account settings
Click your profile picture (top right) and select Account, or go straight to lovd.app/account. This opens Profile by default.
Settings sections
- Profile: profile picture, display name, handle (@username), and email. Docs: Profile
- Subscription: view your plan, upgrade or downgrade, and access Storage, Billing, and Family sub-pages. Docs: Subscription
- Appearance: light or dark mode, accent color, and border radius.
- Privacy: control tagging and toggle anonymous usage analytics. Docs: Privacy
- Notifications: choose which email notifications you receive (collection invites, event invites). Docs: Notifications
- Data: request a full export of your photos and metadata (GDPR data portability). Docs: Data export
Storage usage lives under Subscription → Storage. Learn more about Storage

To change your password, log out, click Forgot Password on the login page, and follow the email link.

Anonymous product analytics
We use PostHog to see which features people use and where they get stuck. We never collect photo content or sell your data. Logged-in users can opt out anytime in Privacy Settings.
Cookie consent
On your first visit you'll see a cookie banner where you can accept all cookies, reject non-essential ones, or customize your choice. Once logged in, manage analytics from your Privacy settings instead.
Your data
- Export anytime. Download your photos and metadata whenever you want, from the Data section.
- Permanent deletion. Account deletion has a 7-day cancellation window. After that your data is removed from active systems, and backups are purged within 90 days.
