Account Overview

Your Lovd account contains your profile information, preferences, and all your collections and photos.

Accessing Account Settings

  1. Click your profile picture in the top right
  2. Select Account from the menu

Or go directly to lovd.app/account.

Profile

Update your personal information:

  • Profile picture
  • Display name (first and last name)
  • Handle (@username)
  • Email address

Password

To change your password:

  1. Log out
  2. Click Forgot Password on the login page
  3. Follow the email instructions

Privacy & Transparency

We are committed to being transparent about how we operate Lovd.

Anonymous Product Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how people interact with Lovd. This helps us identify which features are popular and where users are getting stuck. You can opt out of analytics in your Privacy Settings. We never collect sensitive photo data or sell your information.

Cookie Consent

When you first visit lovd., you'll see a cookie consent banner where you can:

  • Accept all cookies (analytics + essential)
  • Reject non-essential cookies
  • Customize your preferences

Logged-in users manage analytics preferences in their Privacy settings instead.

Data Sovereignty

  • Export Anytime - You can export your photos and metadata at any time.
  • Permanent Deletion - When you delete your account, your data is wiped from our servers within 30 days.
